Incentive Awards*

All non-sponsored students are eligible for incentive awards for excellent attendance. The following is the incentive award table:

Students with 3 or more courses:

• Perfect Attendance    $125
• Missed 1 class    $120
• Missed 2 classes     $115

Students with 2 courses:

• Perfect Attendance   $95
• Missed 1 class   $90
• Missed 2 classes    $85

Students with 1 course:

• Perfect Attendance    $60
• Missed 1 class    $55
• Missed 2 classes    $50

* To receive this award, the student must be passing all of their courses.

Old Sun Community College Awards

President's Honour Roll

The President’s Honour Roll is given to Students who have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 80% or higher, in 2 or more of their classes.

Honourable Mention Award

The Honourable Mention Award is given to Students who have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 70%-79%, in 2 or more of their classes

Highest Academic Achievement Award

The Highest Academic Achievement Award is given to the Top Student in their class who have a final grade of 60% or better.

Excellent Attendance Award

The Excellent Attendance Award is given each semester to Students with perfect attendance.

Awards are given for:

Fall Semester in February

Winter Semester in September
